(Hartley)– There will be a change in healthcare providers soon in Hartley. MercyOne Hartley Family Medicine has announced its lease for their clinic location in Hartley is being discontinued and that they will no longer provide services as of late this summer at that location. Services will be transitioned to MercyOne Primghar Family Medicine in Primghar.
Meanwhile, it was announced Tuesday Spencer Hospital will be taking over operations at the Hartley location, which will be known as Hartley Family Care of Spencer Hospital. The facility, located within Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley, will be managed by Spencer Hospital in collaboration with Avera Medical Group Spencer. Officials with Spencer Hospital say the clinic operations in Hartley will be operated similar to their clinics in Milford and Sioux Rapids.
A press release doesn’t mention a specific date as to when the transition will occur. It says that information will be forthcoming.
