(Spencer)– An investigation into a hit-and-run collision last week in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a Council Bluffs man. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies received a report that a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban had been struck at the intersection of 240th Avenue and 390th street by a 2009 tan Hyundai Sonata, which fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was located a short time later by the Iowa State Patrol at Casey’s General Store in Milford. The driver, 28-year-old Jenaro Aguilar, was arrested by the State Patrol for operating while intoxicated. Further investigation resulted in the Clay County Sheriff’s Office charging Aguilar with careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
