(Jackson, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 71 and 725th Street in Jackson county left one person seriously injured.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says Dean Koep of Jackson was driving a 2004 Peterbilt pulling a side dump trailer loaded with gravel. Authorities say Koep was turning right onto 725th Street when the trailer was rear-ended by a 1991 Honda Civic driven by Kristy Tabongphet of Jackson.
Tabongphet was taken by ambulance to the Jackson Medical Center.
The vehicle she was driving was totaled. Minor damage was reported to the side dump trailer.
