“We should hold ourselves to a plan and a timeline and have markers in place and make sure that when we’re spending money on these types of developments that it’s a very clear path of where we’re going. And although I see some value in this land purchase and ultimately if it does go through, I think there will be, I hope, an added benefit in the future. My concern is that at least as of right now I have not heard a specific plan for this action and that’s a little concerning.”
Councilman Ron Hanson says he wants the city to be very aggressive in marketing the land to developers.
