(Sheldon)– Officials have released the name of a person who died in an apartment fire last month in Sheldon. The victim is identified as 60-year-old Marlyn Anderson.
Sheldon firefighters were called in the early morning of April 25th to an apartment building at 219 8th Street. They encountered heavy smoke and fire coming from bedroom window, which prevented firefighters from gaining immediate entry.
Firefighters eventually were able to get the fire under control and found the body when they were able to get into the apartment.
