(Cherokee)– Cherokee-based AgState has a new Chief Operating Officer. A news release says Marc Mears has been hired to the position. Mears previously served as Cargill’s Vice President of Grain, Cotton and Crop Inputs for North America.
AgState was formed following the merger of Alceco/Ag Partners and First Cooperative Association in September of 2021. AgState began operations January 17th of this year.
