(Undated)– Snow blowing across roads, sticking, melting and then re-freezing is causing issues in some areas today (Monday). The slick spots, mainly on north-south roads, have been catching motorists off guard. There have been several reports late this (Monday) morning of vehicles sliding off into the ditch. No serious injuries have been reported.
Anyone planning to drive should pay close attention for rapidly changing road conditions and allow some extra time to reach your destination.
Officials say the problem should take care of itself once the temperature gets up close to freezing and the snow gets a crust on it.
