(Estherville)– Trustees with Iowa Lakes Community College have now made public the names of all four finalists in the running to become the college’s next President with today’s (Thursday’s) announcement of Scott Stokes, who currently serves as Executive Dean at the college’s Estherville campus. Stokes has been a member of the President’s leadership team for nearly 10 years as Executive Dean of Instruction, Vice President of Administration, and in his current role.
Stokes will be on hand Friday for forums at 10:00 am at the Emmetsburg campus and 1:15 pm at Estherville.
Stokes joins Dr. George McNulty, President at Gogebic Community College in the upper peninsula of Michigan, Dr. Martin Reimer, Provost at Ellsworth Community College, and Dr. Eric Dunker of Arapahoe Community College who were present for forums earlier in the week.
College officials haven’t announced yet when a new President could be named. That person will succeed Val Newhouse who will be retiring.
