(Hull)-The Iowa State Patrol says a Spencer man died following an accident near Hull at the intersection of Highway 18 and Indian Avenue Monday afternoon.
A State Patrol Crash Report indicates that Curtis Brownmiller, age 71 of Spencer, was driving a 2017 Nissan westbound and struck a 1998 International truck driven by Jeffrey Verhoef, age 43 of Hull. Verhoef was beginning to make a left hand turn when Brownmiller ran into the back of the truck. Brownmiller’s vehicle came to rest in a field to the northwest of the intersection. The State Patrol was assisted by Hull Fire and Ambulance and the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
