No Injuries Reported In Camper Fire

(Lake Park)– No injuries were reported early this (Fri.) morning in a camper fire in Lake Park. Lake Park Fire Chief Brandon Ehret says they were called to the 100 block of Avenue B East around 4:00 am…

“When we got on the scene it was totally engulfed. Apparently someone had been living in it and it sounds like they got up in the night and knocked over, knocked something over into a space heater that ignited, and they were able to get out, I guess, unharmed, so. The camper is a total loss. Had a little bit of fire extension to a garage that was close by but we got that put out right away, so. That was pretty much the extent of it.”

Firefighters were on the scene about an hour and-a-half this (Fri.) morning.
