(Milford)– A single vehicle crash shortly after 12:00 am this (Fri.) morning in Milford resulted in serious injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol says 35-year-old Rodney Allen of Milford was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban westbound on 9th Street when the vehicle went off the roadway to the left. It started to skid and jumped the curb on the northwest side of the intersection of 9th Street and K Avenue and collided with a tree and a house at 901 K Avenue.
Allen and a passenger, 35-year-old Sasha Allen of Milford, were both ejected from the vehicle. Rodney Allen was transferred by air to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls; Sasha Allen was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital.
The Milford Police Department, Milford Fire Department and a towing service assisted on the scene.
