(Spirit Lake)– A jury trial has been set for a man accused of shooting a woman in the parking lot of a Milford business last month.
Online court records indicate Christian Goyne-Yarns is scheduled to go on trial May 3rd in Dickinson County Court.
He pleaded not guilty earlier this week to a first degree murder charge in the February 3rd shooting of Shelby Woizeschke. Goyne-Yarns was accused of shooting Woizeschke multiple times in the parking lot of Grapetree Medical Staffing.
Goyne-Yarnes had originally been charged with attempted murder. That was upgraded to 1st degree murder a few days later after Woizeschke died of her injuries at a Sioux Falls hospital.
