(Arnolds Park)-A St. Patty’s Day Dance is on tap at the Majestic Pavilion. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association has announced a St. Patrick’s Day “Rock the Pavilion” Concert.
Executive Director Clay Norris says the event will feature a popular regional act. “The Itty Bitty Boji Band is Bill Carpenter and he’s got a couple individuals that have been playing with him for a long time, and they are a fantastic trio. They perform all around the area and, just a great variety of music. I think they play everything from the late 50s into the 70s and it will be a great night of dancing with those folks. So, make sure that you wear your green, dust off those dancing shoes and come on out.”
He notes that tickets will be available at the door. “Admission is $10. We also will honor the 2021 Punch Card, if you still have punches left on that, and it will be a great opportunity to buy a new 2022 Punch Card. That is 12 of the $10 shows for the price of 10. So, for $100 you can get in to 12 events for the next year.”
Doors will open at 5, with the concert from 6-8 on the evening of March 17.
