(Arnolds Park)– Imagine Iowa Great Lakes has announced they would like to thank Robyn Hubbard for her years of service on the board of directors. Hubbard was instrumental in the development of the arches on the promenade at Preservation Plaza at Arnolds Park, as well as with the Minnie Queen at East Lake Park. A special plaque in her honor will be placed on the Dickinson County Recreational Trail system.
Imagine Iowa Great Lakes has also announced the appointment of Michele Goodenow to fill the board position previously held by Hubbard. Goodenow previously served as the organization’s Executive Director and will be stepping down from that position.
It was also announced Larry Arndt was hired last fall as Project Manager and Supervisor for Imagine Iowa Great Lakes. Arndt will oversee projects and maintenance work. He and his wife, Mary, have lived in Spirit Lake since 1994. Prior to that they lived in Wall Lake, Iowa.
