(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson county supervisors today (Tues.) continued to a later date to be determined a completion hearing on Drainage District 48 on the north side of the city of Spirit Lake, near Kabel’s Trading Post. The project has been a source of major controversy. The owner of that business once again addressed the supervisors regarding some damage, saying he’s met with the contractor and engineer on the project as part of a mediation effort.
The supervisors today (Tues.) directed Assistant County Attorney Steve Goodlow to sort out who’s responsible for those damages between the contractor and drainage district.
