(Rock Rapids)– A Rock Valley man faces charges in connection with a pursuit late Saturday night in Lyon county.
Authorities say a deputy was attempting to conduct a traffic stop but the driver refused to pull over, resulting in a short pursuit before the driver finally stopped.
35-year-old Justin VanTilburg was charged with operating under the influence…1st offense, eluding, open container, failure to obey a stop sign and driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway.
Authorities say Van Tilburg was also wanted on a warrant from another county.
