The Pearson Lakes Art Center has announced their upcoming concerts, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Pearson Lakes Art Center has announced their 2022 Concert lineup.
Executive Director Bob Kirschbaum says they have started early ticket sales. “Something we’re doing a little differently this year, really to benefit our membership, we’re putting the tickets on sale for members only first, and we’re doing it with each of the big groups that we’re having in. For instance, last week we had Leonid & Friends for sale. We sold out over half of the auditorium just last week for members. Now, anybody can order, members or not. But still, as a member, it’s a lot better to become a member if you go to two shows and bring a couple with you, you’re money ahead by being a member. So, we’re really promoting our membership.”
He notes that the lineup includes some big names. “Three big names that people will remember from the 70s and 60s, The Association, and we have The Buckinghams, Gary Lewis & The Playboys, and, of course, the incomparable Marilyn Maye will be back again with us for two nights. Then, Hotel California will be back for two nights, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.”
