(Emmetsburg)– The Northwest Iowa RSVP program has hired Kathy Pudenz as their new coordinator for Palo Alto county. She started in the position on January 25th of this year and is based out of the Emmetsburg campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.
Pudenz is a past recipient of the Iowa Governor’s Volunteer of the Year Award. She also has experience as a non-profit board and advisory council member, hospice volunteer, and extensive support and advocacy for individuals with disabilities and their parents.
Pudenz says one of her first goals is to implement a Pen Pal program for 3rd or 4th graders in Palo Alto county.
