First Eggs & Issues Of The Session Coming Up This Saturday (Jan. 22nd)

(Spencer)– The Spencer Chamber of Commerce holds its first “Eggs And Issues” legislative forum of the session this Saturday in the council chambers at Spencer City Hall. Becky Fear-Hatting of the Spencer Chamber says the doors will open at 8:30 with the forum beginning promptly at 9:00 am…

“You come in, you’ll register, if you have a question you want to ask you’ll also write that down on a sheet of paper so you can get called to the podium when it’s your turn. We do try to cover as many topics as possible. So like for instance if there’s three education questions and then one on taxes or one on something else, we’ll do one on education, jump down to other topics, then come back up to education go through them that way so that everything gets covered. With the legislators being out here, is is the perfect way for all of the constituents out here to come and talk to them about all of the different issues that are happening. You know, with the income taxes or education, or anything that is for you.”

Hatting says the session will run about an hour and-a-half.

This marks the 29th year for Eggs and Issues.
