(Spirit Lake)– A lakes area company is involved in a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. Gena Riphagen of Rembrandt foods tells KUOO news they’ve teamed up with Scratch Cupcakes…
“There’s a variety of cupcakes that are available for purchase in packs of six ranging from $15 to $18 and those then the proceeds for that all will go back to Relay For Life. It’s a 40 percent proceeds on any of those packages sold.”
Riphagen says they have a pamphlet that shows the wide variety of cupcakes available to order…
“My favorite is the wedding day one which is just a plain vanilla and almond, I believe. And yeah, great choices here with candy, peanut butter, peppermint, all kinds of them.”

Riphagen goes on to explain how Rembrandt Foods got involved in the fundraiser…
“The Relay For Life team through Northwest Bank typically had run this fundraiser and then Scratch Cupcakes does the fundraiser for three years for each organization and so then we picked it up after Northwest Bank’s group did it.”
