(Des Moines)– We now know which committees Senator-elect Dave Rowley will be serving on when the Iowa Legislature convenes next week. Senate Majority Leader Jack Whitver announced Rowley will serve on the Human Resources, Labor and Judiciary Committees as well as the Transportation, Infrastructure and Capital Appropriation Subcommittee.
Rowley won a special election December 14th to fill the term of Zach Whiting, who has since moved out of state. As we reported previously, Rowley announced Monday he plans to run for a full term in the November 2022 election for what will become Senate District 5.
