Local Agency To Hold “Winter Wellness Giveaway”

(Spirit Lake)– Seasons Center for Behavioral Health will be hosting a “Winter Wellness Giveaway” in Spirit Lake on Monday, December 20th. Sarah Heinrichs of Seasons Center tells KUOO news 50 baskets will be given out on a first come, first serve basis to Dickinson county families…

“We will be doing a drive-through giveaway on Monday, December 20th from 4:00 to 6:00. We’ll be in the parking lot of the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. We’re asking individuals to enter from the south from 19th Street. It will be first come, first serve. We are also providing 10 baskets to the Dickinson County V-A to provide to veterans through their agency.”

Heinrichs says the baskets contain a number of items…

“There will be non-perishable food items as well as some winter safety and wellness items; blankets, flashlights, day passes to the Bedell Family YMCA.”

Heinrichs says the “Winter Wellness Giveaway” is being made possible through funding Seasons Center received from the Dickinson County Endowment Fund.
