ISU Extension And Outreach Dickinson County Announces Return Of Crop Advantage Program
November 30, 2021Steve Schwaller
(Spirit Lake)– ISU Extension and Outreach Dickinson County is bringing back a popular program this year for area producers. Sue Boettcher tells KUOO news their Crop Advantage program will be held January 11th at Arrowwood Resort and Convention Center…
“We didn’t have it last year because of covid, so it should be good to get back together again. Registration starts at 9:30 and then the program gets going at 10:00. We do want you to register for that so that we know how many materials to have. But January 11th.”
Boettcher says they’ll also be holding a private pesticide training class along with that event…
“So if you attend the Crop Advantage that private pesticide is offered in the afternoon at 3:35. But if you can’t make that we will have classes here on January 26th. And then the farmers are always looking for a brochure that comes out with all the area counties with all the dates available for taking the private pesticide, that will be coming out this week, so be looking in the mailbox. It is a bright yellow brochure this year.”
