(Undated)– Some shoreline stabilization work is being planned for 2022 on Silver Lake near Lake Park and Storm Lake in Buena Vista county.
The project planned for Silver Lake will affect about 3,280 feet of shoreline and has a completion date of September 15th, 2022. It’s part of an overall restoration of the lake.
The project on Storm Lake consists of 2,000 feet of shoreline armoring and some incidental work. That project is slated for completion by May 20th, 2022.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has set December 9th at 11:00 am as the deadline for bids to be submitted on the projects.
