(Windom, Mn.)– A single vehicle rollover on Highway 71 south of Windom today (Friday) injured two people.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 51-year-old Sarah Hitchcock of Spencer lost control of a 2007 Toyota Rav 4 as she was traveling southbound at mile marker 25. The vehicle left the road and rolled.
Hitchcock and a passenger, 23-year-old Ashlye Parada, were taken to the Windom hospital. Another passenger escaped injury.
The crash took place around 11:40 am. Troopers say the road was snow and ice-covered.
The Jackson and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Offices, Windom ambulance and Windom police assisted on the scene.
