Collision Southwest Of Milford Sends Two People To The Hospital

(Milford)– Two people were taken to hospitals following a collision Tuesday at the intersection of 250th Street and 160th Avenue southwest of Milford.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 66-year-old Steven Svrcek of Lakeville, Minnesota was driving a 2013 Ford Expedition westbound on 250th Street when he pulled into the path of a 2016 Ford Super Duty pickup driven by 56-year-old Todd Kramer of Spencer, who was southbound on 160th Avenue. The Expedition collided with the driver’s side of the pickup pushing it off the road where it rolled at least three times on the southeast side of the intersection.

Kramer had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Lakes Area Extrication Unit and was taken to Spencer Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Svercek declined immediate treatment. A passenger in his vehicle, 57-year-old Steven Hill of Victoria, Minnesota, was taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare with non-life threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were totaled in the crash which took place shortly after 12 Noon.

The Milford Police Department and Milford Fire Department assisted on the scene along with the Lake Park Ambulance, Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance and a towing service.
