(Spencer)– A Milford woman was arrested following a pursuit Sunday in Clay County.
The Spencer Police Department says it started while officers were investigating a report of stolen property in the 600 block of 4th avenue Southeast in Spencer. They say a black Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 36-year-old Tabetha Wilson of Milford left the scene and that officers pursued it. The vehicle eventually came to rest in a ditch in the 1100 mile of 380th Street in Clay county.
Wilson was taken into custody on charges of eluding law enforcement, driving under suspension, failure to obey a stop sign and speeding. Authorities say Wilson was also wanted on four outstanding warrants. She was booked into the Clay county jail.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the case, which remains under investigation.
