(Sibley)– A Lake Park man has been sentenced in Osceola County District Court on a weapons charge.
34-year-old Daniel Wingert pled guilty Thursday to a charge of possession of a firearm or offensive weapon being subject of a protection order, a class “D” felony.
As part of a plea deal, a 5-year jail term was suspended and Wingert was placed on probation for two years with credit for time already served. He was also ordered to pay a fine of a little more than $1,000 along with a crime services surcharge.
