(Los Angeles, Ca.)– A lakes area native is making a name for himself in Hollywood. Zach Koepp, a 2008 graduate of Okoboji High School, wrote, produced and directed the movie “The Willowbrook” during the pandemic. Koepp says he enjoys pointing out some iconic lakes area landmarks in the film to other producers and writers in Hollywood…
Koepp will be back in the lakes area next week for the local debut of “The Willowbrook” this coming Tuesday, November 9th at the Pearson Lakes Art Center…
Koepp says he has been getting a lot of interest in the film from worldwide distributors.
Koepp adds he’s working on a second movie. He couldn’t go into detail, but says it will also be shot in Iowa.
