Trunk or Treat returns to Iowa Lakes Community College on Thursday. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Iowa Lakes Community College will host their annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday evening.
Student senate Advisor Katie King says families are encouraged to attend. “We invite clubs, athletic departments as well as different areas within the college to come out and decorate a trunk, and then invite all of the community families to come and get candy and trick or treat in a safe environment.”
She adds that participants can cast their vote for the best trunk. “At the Student Senate Trunk or Treat, that’s who is putting this on is the students here at Iowa Lakes, at our trunk what you’ll do is, you’ll go through and vote for which trunk you thought was the best one. Then, that department or group will win a pizza party. So, there is kind of a little competition going on as well.”
The event will run from 5:30 to 7 Thursday evening in the west parking lot of the Estherville Campus.
