Disturbance Investigation Results In Arrest Of Ocheyedan Man

(Sibley)– An investigation Saturday into a disturbance at a residence in Ocheyedan resulted in the arrest of an Ocheyedan man.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 41-year-old Travis Dirks of Ocheyedan was charged with dominion/control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a felon, a class “D” felony, and harrassment in the 1st degree, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Dirks was booked into the Osceola county jail on a $10,000 cash only bond.

The Iowa State Patrol and Iowa Department of Natural Resources assisted on the scene.
