(Spencer)– Authorities in Clay county have released details into a traffic stop this past Saturday that resulted in the arrest of a Windom, Minnesota man.
The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy made the stop a little after 2:00 am on Highway 71 near Greenville. An investigation revealed the driver, Km Kiris, was revoked in Iowa and Minnesota. Kiris was also allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana.
Kiris was arrested and booked into the Clay county jail on charges of driving while revoked and possession of a controlled substance. Authorities say an additional charge of operating while intoxicated…drugged, is pending the outcome of results from the Iowa DCI Crime Lab.
