(Emmetsburg)– A Laurens man wanted in connection with a pursuit in Clay county this past Saturday evening was taken into custody Sunday in Laurens.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies went to 4445 420th Avenue where they found the vehicle wanted in connection with the case. 33-year-old Michael Hood, Jr. was arrested on a valid Pocahontas county warrant charging him with failure to appear on a previous criminal charge.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office seized the vehicle and additional evidence was gathered from the scene. Authorities say additional charges may be pending against Hood once the items are analyzed by the Iowa DCI crime lab.
