Suspicious Vehicle Investigation Results In Arrest Of Terril Woman

(Estherville)– An investigation into a report of a suspicious vehicle October 9th near Twelve Mile Lake in Emmet county led to the arrest of a Terril woman.

The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy responded to the scene and located the vehicle. It was determined the occupant of the vehicle, 39-year-old Jamie Williams, was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Nobles county, Minnesota for failure to appear on drug charges.

Further investigation resulted in a K-9 being deployed on the vehicle resulting in some methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia being found.

Williams was arrested and booked into jail on the Nobles county warrant and was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense…methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver’s license.
