PLAC Awarded Grant From Iowa Arts Council And National Endowment For The Arts

(Okoboji)– The Pearson Lakes Art Center has been awarded a grant from the Iowa Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts. PLAC Executive Director Bob Kirschbaum tells KUOO news they’re the recipient of a “Cultural Leadership Partners Program Operating Support Grant”…

“It’s a competitive process that occurs once every three years and, you know, it really makes it worth while all the hard work that went into it to make this happen and the nice thing about it is it happens every three years and we can use the grant for our annual operational support. So we’re just thankful to be a part of the people who were selected.”

The Pearson Lakes Art Center was one of 58 of Iowa’s arts and cultural organizations awarded funding through the program.
