(Spencer)– Dan Gifford has been hired as the new City Manager in Spencer.
Gifford has served previously as the Planning Director in Fairfield, Iowa and as City Administrator in Holstein and West Burlington. He’s expected to begin his new job in Spencer in early November.
City officials in Spencer made the announcement this weekend.
Gifford succeeds Amanda Mack in the position, who departed Spencer for a similar job in South Dakota earlier this past summer.
