Things are about to get spooky at Arnolds Park Amusement Park, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Arnolds Park Amusement Park will present Boji Scare starting Friday night.
Marketing Director Paul Plumb says the legendary venue will be transformed into a haunted park. “They enter at The Raceway, so they can park in the new parking lot we have up there. They’ll walk across the bridge and just go through all the different events we have lined up inside The Park. We’ll have characters doing some scaring and they can walk through the Tipsy House and the Mirror Maze we’ll have all lined up with scary stuff and a lot of animatronics going on throughout The Park so, it’s just a lot of fun to scare people for one, and to see people react to the atmosphere we’ve created down there.”
He adds that the attraction will be open Friday and Saturday nights as well as on Halloween. “We start, actually, this weekend, Friday and Saturday nights all the way through October. Also, Sunday, day of Halloween on the 31st, we open, all weather permitting. We started this last year and it just worked out really well. We had people in from all over, you know, up in Minnesota and South Dakota, drove for miles to the event and just had a lot of fun.”
