(Spencer)– A Peterson woman escaped injury but faces charges after a vehicle she was driving collided with a concrete barrier Tuesday night.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Amy Stallings was driving a 2006 Kia Sportage that went through a curve and collided with the barrier at the corner of 2nd Street and Highway 10 in Peterson.

A subsequent investigation resulted in Stallings being arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated…1st offense, and open container.

The vehicle was totaled in the crash.

The wreckage was discovered by a deputy on routine patrol.
