(Estherville)– The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a traffic stop back on May 14th of this year that resulted in the arrest of a Clarinda man.
Authorities say it happened around 7:30 that evening after a deputy noticed a vehicle speeding in the 4300 block of Highway 9. Upon pulling over the vehicle a deputy discovered some drug paraphernalia. A K-9 unit was deployed on the vehicle resulting in deputies seizing 29 grams of marijuana and edible marijuana products along with a scale and packaging materials.
The driver, 22-year-old Shaun Evans, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Emmet county jail.
