(Laurens)– A bank in the region is changing hands.
Clark J. Cunningham, Chairman and CEO of Community State Bank of Spencer, says they have entered into a purchase agreement to acquire Laurens State Bank of Laurens.
The agreement is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be finalized this summer.
Community State Bank is locally owned with offices in Spencer, Sioux Rapids, Albert City and Webb.
