(Emmetsburg)– A Graettinger woman has been charged for allegedly bringing a controlled substance into the Palo Alto county jail.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Karissa Matheason was being booked into jail on a warrant to serve a 30 day mittimus when deputies found a controlled substance.
Matheason was charged with introducing a controlled substance into a correctional facility, a class “D” felony.
