(Spirit Lake)– A single vehicle crash late Monday afternoon on Highway 86 near Cutty’s Resort injured a Spencer man.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Eric Peterson of Spencer was driving a 2012 Jeep southbound when he lost control of the vehicle after apparently suffering a medical condition. The vehicle went into the east ditch and traveled through a fence before overturning.
Peterson was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare.
Spirit Lake police and the Spirit Lake Fire Department assisted on the scene.
The crash took place a little after 4:00 pm.
