(Spirit Lake)– Several law enforcement agencies in the region will be participating in a prescription drug takeback day this Saturday (April 24th). The Spirit Lake Police Department will be among them. They’ll have a drop off set up from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Spirit Lake.
Those with unused or expired prescription drugs are urged to take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of them.
Officials say the Takeback program plays a vital role in helping keep prescription drugs from getting into the wrong hands.
