(Rock Rapids)– Crews had a bit of a mess to clean up when a semi trailer tipped onto its side Wednesday morning in Lyon county.
The Sheriff’s Office says Kenneth Boone of Sheldon was driving a 2015 Peterbilt semi and was attempting to make a turn when the trailer’s rear tires went into the ditch. The trailer, which was loaded with grain, tipped on its side, spilling its contents into the ditch.
An ambulance and rescue crews responded to the scene, however a press release doesn’t say whether Boone was injured.
The semi sustained an estimated $20,000 in damage.
