Man Wanted By Numerous Counties On Multiple Warrants Taken Into Custody

(Spencer)– A man wanted by authorities in several northwest Iowa counties on multiple warrants has been taken into custody.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Jordan Walbaum was arrested late Wednesday night on Clay county warrants for theft in the 2nd and 5th degrees. He was booked into the Clay county jail on a $5,300 bond. 

Walbaum was also served warrants from Cherokee county for failure to appear on original charges of possession of a controlled substance…3rd offense, assault on persons in certain occupations, disarming a peace officer, operating while under the influence…1st offense and interference with official acts. Bond on those charges was set at $5,000. 

Walbaum was also served two warrants from Pocahontas county for felony eluding, possession of a controlled substance…3rd offense, operating without the owner’s consent, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts. Bond on those charges was set at $12,600 cash or surety.

Walbaum additionally was served with a warrant from Buena Vista county charging him with theft in the 5th degree, with a $300 unsecured appearance bond. 

He was also served with a warrant from O’Brien county for failure to appear for court. Bond on that warrant was set at $500 cash or surety.
