(Windom, Mn.)– A Windom woman was killed in a truck-pedestrian accident early yesterday (Wednesday) morning in Windom.
The Windom Police Department reports that around 12:40am, officers responded to the area around Hy-Life Foods for a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident. When officers arrived on the scene, the patient was not breathing and officers began CPR.
The patient, identified as Eliza Willy of Windom, was taken to the Windom Hospital and later pronounced dead.
The driver of the truck was identified as Richard Nelson of Ormsby.
The Windom Police Department notes there were no clear contributing factors to the accident.
