Two Vehicle Collision West Of Milford Sends One Person To The Hospital

(Milford)– Minor injuries were reported in a two vehicle collision Tuesday at the intersection of Dickinson County Roads A-34 and M-27 about nine miles west of Milford.

The Iowa State Patrol says 20-year-old Johannah McKibben of Mapleton was driving a 2010 Buick westbound on County Road A-34 when she pulled into the path of  a2013 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 77-year-old Dennis Nurse of Hartley, who was northbound on County Road M-27.

Nurse was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare.

The pickup driven by Nurse was totaled; about $8,000 in damage was estimated to the Buick driven by McKibben.

McKibben was cited for failure to yield.

The collision took place a little after 9:30 am.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Lakes Regional Ambulance, Lake Park Ambulance, Milford Fire and Rescue and a towing service assisted on the scene.
