(Orange City)– A Spencer woman sustained minor injuries Sunday evening when a vehicle she was driving collided with a deer.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Kayla Farrell of Spencer was driving a 2012 GMC Terrane northbound on Highway 60 when she collided with the animal.
Farrell was taken by ambulance to the Sheldon Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
