(Milford)– The Milford City Council Monday evening approved considerations and gave final adoption to a number of ordinance revisions. One does away with licensing requirements for dog owners; another removes council approval of members serving on the Fire Department; while yet another makes a change to the city’s dangerous and/or vicious animals ordinance. The preliminary and final approvals of the changes followed public hearings that drew no written or verbal comment.
The council also approved vacating an unused alley, conveying it by quit claim deed to an adjoining property owner. It’s located on the former Smith Lumber site. The city will retain easements needed for utilities.
