March 08, 2021

(Spirit Lake)– Two state motor vehicle-related extensions remain in place after Governor Kim Reynolds last week updated her Proclamation of Disaster Emergency related to COVID-19.

Dickinson County Treasurer Kris Rowley says one of those allows driving for up to 90 days with temporary tags from dealer while waiting on titling and or plating. She says the other pertains to overweight loads for motor carriers.

There are also active federal suspensions regarding commercial driver’s licenses and commercial learner’s permits.
